501(c)(3) Non-Profit

Foundations & Supporters

OperaUSA is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit. We are grateful to the foundations and individuals who share our belief in the democracy of performance.

Why Support OperaUSA?

OperaUSA is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit with a mission that no other organization in the world is pursuing at scale: bringing professional opera and musical theatre performances to any venue, in any city, on any continent — permanently and on an ongoing basis.

Unique Global Mission

The "democracy of performance" — bringing opera and musical theatre to audiences who have never had access to live professional performance — is genuinely new. No other organization is pursuing this at a global, permanent scale.

Workforce Development

Our platform creates real economic opportunity for opera and musical theatre singers — especially emerging artists who lack the personal networks to find professional work. Every production posted is a job. Every successful casting is a career advanced.

Arts Infrastructure

OperaUSA is not a single production — it is the infrastructure that makes many productions possible. Every dollar invested in the platform benefits every artist and producer who uses it.

How Donations Are Used

As a non-profit, we are fully transparent about how every dollar is allocated. Our priorities reflect our mission directly.

1
Subsidized Artist Memberships

Supporting emerging singers who cannot afford even a small monthly fee to access the platform

2
Platform Development

Building and improving the tools that connect artists, producers, and venues — including Smart Match

3
Outreach to Conservatories

Partnerships with music schools to ensure graduating singers can access the platform as they enter the profession

4
International Expansion

Supporting the "democracy of performance" by bringing our platform — and the productions it enables — to Europe, Asia, and Latin America
