Born in a country that lies right in-between Germany and Italy, the Swiss soprano Daniela Ruth Stoll has an affinity to both Italian repertoire as well as German repertoire including Mozart and German Lied.
She finished her studies in Bern with distinction and has performed in different roles since then. She sang Blonde from the «abduction of the Seraglio» and Madame Herz from "Der Schauspieldirektor". With the title role of Donizetti's «Betly», she sang her first role from the belcanto repertoire. Changing to a more lyric repertoire, she will sing the role of the first lady in Mozart's "Magic Flute" as well as the role of Marzelline in Beethoven's "Leonore" in summer of 2021.
She won the international singing competitions «Kammeroper Schloss Rheinsberg 2020», «Opernspiele Munot 2019», «Schlossoper Haldenstein 2017» and the 3rd prize and audience award at the «International Othmar Schoeck Competition for Lied Duo 2016».
